1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using the Glance Live Search plugin ("Plugin") or this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Plugin or this website.

2. License

Free version

The free version of the Plugin is distributed under the GNU General Public License v2 (GPL-2.0) via WordPress.org. You may use, modify, and distribute it in accordance with that license.

Pro version

A Pro license grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Plugin on the number of production sites specified in your plan. The license is valid for one year from the date of purchase and renews automatically unless cancelled. You may not sublicense, resell, or redistribute the Pro version.

Staging and development sites

Staging, development, and local environments do not count against your license quota and may use the Pro version without restriction.

3. Payment and refunds

All payments are processed by Freemius. Prices are listed in USD and are billed annually. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee: if the Plugin does not perform as described, request a full refund within 30 days of purchase by emailing help@glancelivesearch.com. No refunds are issued after 30 days.

4. Updates and support

Active Pro licenses receive plugin updates and email support for the duration of the license term. Free users receive updates via WordPress.org and community support via the WordPress.org support forum. We reserve the right to change support channels or response-time targets with reasonable notice.

5. Prohibited uses

You may not:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Pro version beyond what is permitted by applicable law.
• Use the Plugin in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation.
• Remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or attribution notices included in the Plugin.
• Resell access to the Plugin or its license keys to third parties.

6. Intellectual property

"Glance Live Search" and associated logos are trademarks of their respective owners. The GPL-licensed portions of the Plugin may be used as permitted by that license. All other intellectual property rights in the Pro version remain with Glance.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Plugin is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Plugin will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every theme or plugin.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Glance shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Plugin. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the license in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Glance operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active license holders of material changes by email. Continued use of the Plugin after the effective date of any change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
