1. Who we are

Glance Live Search ("Glance", "we", "us") is an independent software product that provides an instant AJAX search plugin for WooCommerce stores. Our contact email is help@glancelivesearch.com.

2. Data we collect and why

Contact form

When you submit a message through our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. This data is transmitted to us via Web3Forms and stored in our email inbox. We use it solely to reply to your inquiry. We do not add you to any marketing list without explicit consent.

CAPTCHA (Cloudflare Turnstile)

Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated spam. Turnstile may collect your IP address and browser signals to determine whether a form submission is human. This processing is governed by Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Payments (Freemius)

Pro license purchases are processed by Freemius. When you buy a license, Freemius collects your name, email address, and payment information. Glance does not store your card details. Freemius's data practices are described in the Freemius Privacy Policy.

Plugin analytics (your store's data)

The Glance plugin records search queries made by your store's visitors in your store's own WordPress database. This data never leaves your server and is never transmitted to Glance. You control it entirely and can delete it at any time from your WordPress dashboard.

Website analytics

We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking pixel on this website. Server logs may capture IP addresses and user-agent strings for security and debugging purposes. These logs are retained for a maximum of 30 days.

3. Cookies

This website does not set any first-party tracking or marketing cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile may set a functional cookie as part of its bot-detection mechanism. No cookie consent banner is displayed because we do not use cookies for analytics or advertising.

4. How we share your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Data is shared only with the sub-processors listed above (Web3Forms, Cloudflare, Freemius) and only to the extent necessary to provide the services described.

5. Data retention

• Contact form submissions — kept for as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry, then deleted.
• Purchase records — retained by Freemius in accordance with their legal and accounting obligations.
• Server logs — deleted after 30 days.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email us at help@glancelivesearch.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Children

This website and plugin are not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any revision. Continued use of the site or plugin after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
